Singapore Sogetsu Association
The Singapore Sogetsu Association (SSA) was founded in 1966 by Mrs. Kazue Kato Kim, who introduced Sogetsu Ikebana to Singapore in 1957. Now led by Mrs. Pandora Ip, SSA continues to impact lives through floral art. Committed to compassion and altruism, SSA organizes annual charity galas featuring floral demonstrations by renowned Sogetsu masters to raise funds for local charities. Beneficiaries include the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, Assisi Hospice, and the Singapore Red Cross. SSA also holds exhibitions, classes, workshops, and creative gatherings to promote Sogetsu Ikebana and encourage public awareness and member creativity. They conduct classes for all levels and undertake commercial projects to further support their charitable mission.
