Marchisio
The Marchisio name first appeared in Turin’s goldsmith industry in 1649. Felice Marchisio, born in 1846, co-founded Marchisio Bros, which became Turin’s largest goldsmith company. By the 1880s, it employed over 100 workers and produced notable pieces, including a jewellery box for Queen Margherita.
Despite challenges during the World Wars, the company was revived by Napoleone Marchisio and his son Giovanni, becoming Giovanni Marchisio & Co. in 1968, supplying leading jewellers worldwide.
