However, her discovery of the heritage art of Batik marked a significant turning point in her career, blending her love for fashion and artistry. Batik, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest artisan crafts, became her canvas to express a unique style and design.

Sonali has innovatively revitalised traditional Batik methods, infusing new technologies to enrich fabric textures. Each piece in our gallery is a bespoke, handcrafted work of art, ensuring every garment is unique, even if inspired by designs on display.
