Akshat Ghiya, the founder of Tallin, spent his formative years between Jaipur and Padua, learning from his father – a seasoned gemstone trader to global jewellery houses for over 40 years – and his mother, an artist and jewellery designer with a passion for beauty in all its forms. When Akshat established Tallin, he aimed to embody his family’s diverse strengths and global experiences. The result is a collection of meticulously handcrafted fine jewellery that integrates unconventional stones and cuts, emphasising the modern reinterpretation of traditional techniques and aesthetics. Each Tallin piece is a collaboration between Akshat and his mother, Namrata, crafted by skilled artisans in their family-owned atelier nestled within the historic walls of Jaipur’s old city.
